RV Parking Tips and Training

Many times people buy a new or used RV and have no experience or knowledge of how to park it. The examples "here" will give you an illustrated look at the proper way to back in your new or used RV. Note: Always get out and walk around your Campsite before backing while observing power lines, bushes, waterlines, power poles and other obstructions that may damage your coach or cause damage to your site with your coach.

"THE DRIVER SHOULD BE THE ONE WHO DOES THIS...Not the passenger.."

Spotters can be helpful but in most cases, they can hinder your backing process unless they are very experienced doing this, in most cases, they do not have the knowledge to safely direct you. Avoid Spotters if you can..You, physically getting out and looking is best. After all, you are the one who has to pay the consequences if you hit something, not the spotter. Another important note: when applying the example parking procedures, go slow, take your time and be aware of all of your surroundings. It’s not a race to back in.. "Slower the better" and you will get it 1st try almost every time using this method.
